Janine Mackenroth<\/strong> bearbeitet Themen der Gleichberechtigung und Nachhaltigkeit. Mit pflanzenbasiertem (Nagel-)Lack<\/strong> schafft sie Malerei, hinterfragt tradierte Geschlechterrollen, aber auch die Materialit\u00e4t der Kunst selbst. Anl\u00e4sslich ihrer Ausstellung „POOL POSITIONS<\/strong><\/em>“ in der aquabitArt Gallery ver\u00f6ffentlicht sie die pflanzenbasierte Nagellackfarbe \u201eTWENTY EURO BLUE<\/strong><\/em>\u201c \u2013 das Blau der 20-Euro-Geldscheines. Es zieht sich als „blauer Faden<\/strong>“ durch ihre Poolinstallation in den Galerier\u00e4umen \u2013 in ihrer Malerei, als F\u00e4den aus dem Bakterium Escherichia coli, ist in einer Duftarbeit, wiederzufinden, sowie im Pool selbst, bef\u00fcllt mit einer Million geschredderten Euro-Geldscheinen<\/strong>. Bezug nimmt die K\u00fcnstlerin dabei auch auf ihr neues Atelier in einem ehemaligen Schwimmbad aus den 70er-Jahren in M\u00fcnchen.<\/p>\n
