Wie Tentakel einer Seeanemone im Wasser, so winden sich zwei unf\u00f6rmige Arme im Luftraum. Sie suchen einander und ber\u00fchren sich doch nicht. An ihren Enden befinden sich Kuben aus gegossenem Glas, die Oberfl\u00e4chen leicht eingesunken oder gew\u00f6lbt, die Ecken und Kanten sanft gerundet. Das Glas wirkt geschmeidig, schmeichelt den H\u00e4nden. Die beiden Kuben scheinen sich anzuschauen wie zwei Gesichter. Luftblasen in ihren K\u00f6pfen. Der Blickwinkel des einen eher von oben, der des anderen eher von unten. Geht es um Dominanz, um Ann\u00e4herung? Wie die ungreifbaren Arme, so besteht auch die geometrisch abgeschr\u00e4gte Sockelplatte aus verspiegeltem Stahl. In ihrem Spiegelbild wiederholt sich die \u201eBeziehungskiste\u201c fortw\u00e4hrend.<\/p>\n

Wie beim Glasguss<\/strong> werden auch bei den Bildern Farbe und Lack<\/strong> in Schichten aufgetragen, eine Lage nach der anderen oder ineinanderflie\u00dfend, teils mit dem Pinsel aufgemischt, teils mit \u00d6lstiften \u00fcberarbeitet. Die Bildtitel sagen uns, dass diese abstrakten Malereien das Gef\u00fchl eines Augenblicks festhalten wollen: ein negatives Testergebnis, eine mit Gl\u00fcck \u00fcberstandene Gefahr oder schlicht die R\u00fcckkehr zur Arbeit nach der Mittagspause. Emotionale Momentaufnahmen, die – so der K\u00fcnstler – die Innenwelten seiner Plastiken thematisieren.<\/strong><\/p>\n
