Das Bild ist doppelt zweigeteilt, links der Tag, rechts die Nacht, oben der Himmel, darunter das Wasser. Horizontlinie, Schiff und Vollmond gen\u00fcgen, um das Bild zu verorten. In Farbschleiern zeigt sich die D\u00e4mmerung, in Farbspritzern der Sternenhimmel.<\/p>\n \n\n

Wohin f\u00e4hrt das Schiff? In die Dunkelheit oder zum Licht? Wird es Tag oder bricht Nacht herein? Ankunft oder Abschied? Die Bilder von Tobias Wyrzykowski wirken entr\u00fcckt und reduziert. Der Betrachter blickt aus der Ferne auf das Geschehen. Wiederkehrende Motive sind die vier Elemente Feuer, Wasser, Erde, Luft, dazu die Gestirne und Kometen, K\u00fcsten und Horizonte, Schnee und Eis, Berge und Wiesen. Spuren des Menschen gibt es wenige: mal ein Schiff, eine Br\u00fccke, eine Rakete, ein Haus. Tobias Wyrzykowski spricht von ungreifbaren Bildwelten, die nicht beliebig, sondern – Traumbildern gleich – mehrdeutig sind. Sie entstehen intuitiv, je nach Stimmung, teils gedankenverloren, teils zuf\u00e4llig oder tats\u00e4chlich nach Traumresten. Schon die Fahrt zum Atelier, den D\u00fcsseldorfer Rhein entlang, ist f\u00fcr ihn ein R\u00fcckzugsraum auf dem Weg zu einem vielleicht unerreichbaren Ziel, weit weg von allem – die Malerei als Sehnsuchtsort.<\/p>\n \n\n
