United under the title “Nocturnal Animals“, Paula Klien and Poren Huang show current works,
as part of the new exhibition “ÜBERSCHAU #4” at CSR CONTEMPORARY SHOW ROOM at Friedrichstraße 69. We are very pleased to participate in the new format as a guest gallery with two of our artists.

The exhibition series “ÜBERSCHAU” in the CSR CONTEMPORARY SHOW ROOM shows a broad spectrum of selected works by contemporary Berlin artists. The aim of the experimental exhibitions is to contribute to intercultural and intellectual exchange, at changing locations in vacant spaces in Berlin and Europe. The exhibitions are organised by DEEDS.LAB, a non-profit association for the promotion of art and culture.

In her digigraphies (giclée print on cotton paper, editions of 10), Paula Klien takes inspiration from her large-format canvases, photographs them, folds them in a digital process and creates a kaleidoscopic Fata Morgana with the Mirror effect, reminiscent of unknown cosmic beings. The “Clouds” set a counterpoint as unique pieces on paper, with their analogue origin and the materiality of Chinese ink.

Poren Huang‘s witty characters (bronze and stainless steel editions of 30), in turn, take the behaviour of a dog as inspiration to make humorous references to our human characteristics.
